What we can learn from Bernard Leach

Bernard Leach's book, A Potter's Book interested us because it was written in 1940 and gave the world a perspective on functional studio pottery. The text has become somewhat of a handbook for potters beginning their careers, yet a seminal overview of the craft for lay people.  For us, he helped put words to how we can express the aesthetics we love and want to showcase at The Global Pottery Collective.
